Buck - May 2025
Buck was rescued by some good samaritans after being abandoned after a hurricane. Buck is located in Richmond, TX. He does well with people, children and seems to do well with other dogs. He has really only known living outdoors and is not comfortable inside, though with time may accept being indoors. However, the climate he currently lives in can make him miserable in the summer, and his rescuers are looking for a more moderate climate for him to live in. They are willing to help transport him to his new home. He is neutered and UTD on vaccinations and knows basic obedience. Buck's ideal home would be active, talking him on walks and hikes, and has the ability to provide outdoor housing for him as well as giving him the patience to adjust to some indoor living.

Koda July 2025
Hi, my name is Koda. I am about 20 months old and 85#. I was just spayed on May 28th
and have all my vaccinations/preventatives along with no health issues. My humans brought me home at 4 months, as an older puppy. I am a lean Mal and my fur looks really short in summer when I lose my winter coat. In winter, I fluff out more but I have beautiful and easy to manage coat. I have tons of energy but can entertain myself for hours with my squeaker ball or any of my stuffed animals with crinkles and squeaks. I love belly rubs, walks and car rides. I love being outside, even in the heat and recently found out I might actually like the lake when I zoomied my way in accidentally. I know basic commands and my humans have just started to work with me on pulling carts. We have also done some obedience training and that should continue in my new home. They also let me off leash in the yard and generally, I listen very well. I can talk a lot around my humans and I rub up against my humans just like a cat. I also love being brushed and am fortunate to have a fenced back yard with a pet gate so I go in and out as I please. I am not crate trained but I stay off the furniture. I lay on the floor or on one of my pet beds. I am a big baby and I let my humans play with my paws, take away food & toys, and get all kinds of kisses on my head without any issues. I love my humans so much but I have had some dominance aggression towards the other dogs in our house. I would do better as a lone dog in a house with no other pets or children. Possibly, I would be good with a strong male as I do have dogs I regularly get along with. I should have a yard and someone around who can give me lots of attention. Also, the ability to go and out on my own, as that is what I am accustomed to.
